My name is Dean Graziano, and I am a Doctor of Pharmacy. I have been a pharmacist for 35 years, working both as the owner and head pharmacist of my own community pharmacy, as well as doing drug safety for big-name companies such as Pfizer. In that time, I have gained much experience not only in pharmacy, but in the healthcare field. About 3 years ago, as my father's Alzheimer’s progressed, I took an active part in reviewing his healthcare. During this time, I realized I knew very little about Medicare and how it worked. This was a frustrating time, I felt if I, as a healthcare provider for more than half of my life, was confused - how must others feel?

This experience inspired me to use the knowledge I now possess to educate people about Medicare. Since much of it can be confusing, even to healthcare workers themselves, I want to help people to understand and make the best choices for their circumstances, not only when they turn 65 - but throughout the rest of their life.
